Adventures with Cousins

Living close to cousins has been so much fun. Amy and her boys came up from Las Vegas for the week. Together with them and the other cousins we have been able to do three outings up the canyon.

If I haven't mentioned it yet, can I tell you how much I love living three miles from the mouth of the canyon

Milo Comes Home

The kids were so excited to come to the hospital to see their new brother. Can you believe we have four kids!!

This has been a tradition with each of the kids. Their first photo in the carseat for the drive home. Kind of strange, but traditions should not be broken.

Its a Boy!

Milo Andrew Cahoon
Born: 05:32 PM 7/22/2008

Height: 20.5 inches

Weight: 8 lbs 7 oz

We arrived at the hospital around 9 AM this morning and our special little guy has arrived.
Emily did a great job during the delivery. We're so excited to have him with us safely.

One Packed 4th!

This fourth of July turned out to be the perfect storm. We had several activities packed into one weekend.

  1. Our eldest son, Noah, turned 8 years old. We celebrated his babptism on the 4th of July.

  2. Emily's grandfather, Sherm Hislop, passed away this same week so we attended his memorial services.

  3. And, our newest cousin Sadie Jane was able to come to town for her baby blessing.

It's not often that you can pack a National holiday, baby blessing, funeral and son's baptism all into one weekend.

Our New Home - Deeply Planted Roots

Our little family has moved 12 times in our first 10 years of marriage. While we have enjoyed meeting many great people around the country and regret saying Goodbyes, we are truly glad to be "Home".

We just purchased a new home in Highland, UT so that we can be close to family.

We plan on the roots settling deep in this area as we are close to both sets of grandparents and lots of cousins.

The first order of business was to get the backyard in. With a lot of power equipment rentals, we were able to sink the trampoline, get the backyard nice and flat and lay enough sod to keep Noah pushing the lawnmower the rest of his life.
