Chloe turned 7 this month. Can you believe that? 7!!
We started the day with our Birthday tradition.
We brought a birthday cupcake with a candle into her room
early in the morning and woke her up by singing Happy Birthday.
After eating her cupcake, Chloe rushed downstairs to find her
first present...A sweet new cruiser, complete with basket!
At school, Chloe got to share a poster about herself
and Birthday cupcakes. She was her teachers' helper for the
day and the class leader. Her teacher told the class
that one of the reasons she loved Chloe was because she could
trust Chloe to do important jobs for her and that she
was very helpful.
Chloe chose not to have a friend party this year, a decisionthat still has me confused. We finished the day by going to
her favorite restaurant Tepanyaki, and then back
home again for cake and presents from Noah and Lillie.
I can't believe how much she's grown up this year. I'm soglad I kept her home with me an extra year. I have enjoyed her
so much (and so has Lillie!) She's quiet, thoughtful and creative. She loves
being with her family and is fiercely protective of Milo. We love her
so much! Happy Birthday sweetheart!
